COVID-19 Updates

All piano lessons are currently being given remotely / online using Zoom as a platform. Research has suggested that one is most likely to spread or catch the virus through sustained (15-20 minute) contact indoors. Because face-to-face instruction involves close contact and sharing the same keyboard, I am opting to give all instruction remotely until it is clearly safe to return to normal lessons. I have been teaching remotely using Zoom since March of 2020 and it works well! All you need is a device (laptop, i-pad, phone) and your own piano or keyboard. A good internet connection and speed is helpful. Download the Zoom app onto the device that you will be using, click on "join a meeting" when it is your lesson time, and enter my meeting ID and passcode which will be emailed to you before your lesson. I will walk you through positioning your device and altering settings at your first lesson. Once it is safe to return to face-to-face instruction you will have the option of continuing with remote lessons, having lessons in my home in Mason, or a combination of the two
